IPOH: A trailer transporting detergent lost control and overturned across the road at kilometre (km) 256.7 of the North-South Expressway (PLUS) heading north earlier today.
The accident also left a 39-year-old man seriously injured.
According to Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, Assistant Director of Operations at the Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), the incident occurred at around 12:06 PM.
He said the victim was rescued by members of the public and handed over to Ministry of Health (KKM) personnel for further treatment.
“After PLUS personnel completed the trailer removal work, the operation commander instructed the team to carry out cleanup of the accident debris at the scene,” he added.
