TANJUNG MALIM: A total of 148 children from Tabika KEMAS in Tanjung Malim had a special experience as they took part in the ‘Kembara Jiwa Merdeka’ (Journey of the Independent Spirit) program held in conjunction with the national month celebrations.

This special group arrived at KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur via KTM Komuter service.

On the faces of these young children, a patriotic spirit was clearly visible, even as they journeyed far across districts to ignite a love for the nation.

Cheerful faces and burning enthusiasm were seen on every child participating in the program.

The Kembara Jiwa Merdeka program aims to instill a sense of nationalism in children from an early age so that the value of loving the homeland can be nurtured from a young age.

Among the exciting activities held were a Merdeka-themed fashion show, patriotic song performances, and the waving of the Jalur Gemilang (Malaysian flag).

Such initiatives not only provide new experiences for the young children but also strengthen their understanding of the meaning of independence and the importance of preserving national harmony.

The program concluded with a rousing chant of ‘Merdeka!’ by all participants, further energizing the atmosphere at the capital’s main transportation hub.
