TAIPING: The town of Taiping marked a proud moment as it was announced as the winner of the Tourism Promotion Organization (TPO) Tourism Awards 2025 in the Tourism Marketing category during the 12th TPO General Assembly held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This award recognizes Taiping’s tourism promotion efforts during the 150th Anniversary Celebration of Taiping (1874–2024) and the Visit Perak Year 2024.
Through these initiatives, Taiping successfully showcased its unique heritage, natural attractions, and tourism products on the global stage.
This is Taiping’s fourth award since joining TPO in 2014.
The recognition highlights the ongoing commitment of the Taiping Municipal Council staff and all strategic partners in elevating Taiping’s tourism industry to international prominence.
Sincere appreciation is extended to everyone who has continuously supported efforts to promote Taiping as a world-class travel destination.
