Ipoh Suka Langka 2025 to Debut at the National Art Gallery Ipoh

IPOH: In preparation for the opening of the National Art Gallery in Ipoh, a special program titled ‘Ipoh Suka Langka 2025’ is set to excite art lovers in the city.

Packed with a vibrant array of visual arts activities, the event, scheduled for September 19–20, coincides with the school holidays.

Running from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., a variety of engaging activities will be available for visitors of all ages.

The two-day program will bring together over 30 visual arts industry players from across the country, including artists, art collectives, and creative institutions from both public and private sectors.

It is expected to serve as a platform for connection between artists and the local community in an interactive and inclusive environment.

Among the featured events is the Visual Mapping Show, a captivating visual performance using projection mapping technology.

Also on the agenda are Bicara Ilmu & Rapat Kurator, knowledge-sharing sessions with prominent local art figures.

Interactive activities such as Skate Jam, AR Colouring, and Neon Art Walk will blend elements of art and pop culture.

Other highlights include the Doodle & Cupcake Workshop, as well as Mobilegraphy & Plein Air, which explore the art of mobile photography and outdoor painting.

Adding to the festive atmosphere will be live stage performances by local artists and musicians.
