‘Daging Harimau Menangis’ Steals the Show at Symphony Suites Hotel’s Heritage Flavours Ramadan Buffet

IPOH: Daging Harimau Menangis, tender and juicy, paired with a special sauce, has become the highlight of Symphony Suites Hotel’s Heritage Flavours: Traditional Taste Buffet, running from February 20 to March 19.

This rare hotel’s signature dish is prepared using a meticulous marination process before being perfectly grilled, producing a balanced flavour of sweet, sour and spicy notes that whets the appetite from the first bite.

According to the hotel, Daging Harimau Menangis was specially crafted by Symphony Suites Hotel’s chefs, emphasising traditional preparation techniques and selected ingredients to ensure an authentic taste and a unique Ramadan dining experience unlike other hotels.

Aside from this main dish, the buffet also features a wide variety of traditional Malay heritage dishes, including spiced mains, coconut milk-based recipes, and nostalgic village-style dishes perfect for family iftar gatherings.

Other popular selections include spiced chicken and beef, grilled items, soups, and an assortment of fresh appetisers prepared daily to maintain quality and flavour.

Guests can also enjoy a special roast lamb station, adding to the buffet’s appeal.

The buffet is priced at RM80 for adults, RM65 for senior citizens aged 60 and above, and RM35 for children aged six to 12, while children under five dine for free. Symphony Suites Hotel also offers a buy-five-get-one-free promotion and an early bird price of RM65 for bookings from February 1 to 17.

The buffet runs daily from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, complete with a surau for guests wishing to perform prayers during their visit.
