IPOH: Perak residents are encouraged to take the opportunity to follow the Perak State Legislative Assembly sitting, which will take place from April 14 to 21, online.
The proceedings will be broadcast live via the Perak State Assembly’s YouTube channel, allowing the public to follow every debate and key development.
The live streaming link can also be accessed through the official Perak government portal as well as the official Facebook page of the Perak State Secretary’s Office throughout the duration of the sitting.
The Sultan of Perak and the Raja Permaisuri of Perak have consented to grace the Official Opening Ceremony.
His Royal Highness will deliver the Royal Address in conjunction with the opening of the State Assembly sitting.
Meanwhile, Speaker of the Perak State Assembly, Datuk Seri Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid, said in a statement that the debate session will involve 45 state assemblymen.
He added that the winding-up session by State Executive Council (Exco) members, including the Menteri Besar, is scheduled to take place on April 20 and 21, 2026.
“At the same time, the Menteri Besar will also table the National Forestry Act (Amendment) Enactment 2022 (Adoption) 2026 Bill on April 21, 2026,” he said.
