

BAGAN DATUK: The spirit of patriotism and awareness regarding the importance of national defense continues to be strengthened through the organization of the National Defense Strategic Plan (PSPN) x Perak Sejahtera 2030 Carnival.
The two-day event, from 23 to 24 May, was held in the compound of Dewan Dato’ Lope Hashim, Bagan Datuk.


The programme, jointly organized by the Malaysian Armed Forces and the Bagan Datuk District and Land Office, was held to enliven the spirit of love for the country.
At the same time, it strengthens the community’s understanding of the national defense policy as well as the state’s development aspirations through the Perak Sejahtera 2030 agenda.
The carnival also serves as a platform to bring the people closer to the role and function of the MAF through various exhibitions, interactive activities, and community-friendly programmes suitable for the whole family.


Various interesting events are lined up throughout the programme.
Among them are the Badang Perak Sejahtera competition, Fruit Carving Competition, MasterChef Competition, and lucky draws offering various attractive prizes to visitors.
In addition, visitors also have the opportunity to participate in various casual and interactive activities aimed at strengthening relations between government agencies, security personnel, and the local community.
Not to be missed is the exhibition on military history and old uniforms by the Malaysia Historical Group.
The organization of the carnival is seen as aligned with the government’s efforts to empower the spirit of unity, patriotism, and well-being of the people through a closer approach to the community.
