IPOH: The Ipoh Squash Arena here will be temporarily closed for eight days to facilitate maintenance works on its courts.
The Ipoh City Council (MBI), in a statement, said the closure would take place from Sept 4 to 11, 2026.
According to the statement, the maintenance works involve the squash courts to ensure the facility remains in good, safe and comfortable condition for users.
“The temporary closure is to allow maintenance works to be carried out in a more comprehensive, orderly and safe manner,” the statement said.
MBI also urged all users to take note of the closure period and make the necessary arrangements for their activities.
The Squash Arena is expected to reopen once the maintenance works are completed, subject to the prevailing circumstances and developments.
MBI apologised for any inconvenience caused during the closure and thanked all parties for their cooperation and patience.
