An Online Inspirational Talk was recently held, for participating students of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), titled “From ‘Just an Idea’ to Impact: Why Your Idea is Better Than You Think”.
The key speaker was Dr. Chakr Sri Na Nagara, an advisor from Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS) Perak, whose expertise involved extensive experience in research, innovation and practical idea development. The key focus was to transform initial concepts into meaningful, real-world innovations. The highlight of the session was to share strategic insights on idea development to the students present.
Throughout the talk, Dr. Nagara explained how to grow ideas from sparks of inspiration and use one’s mind to develop those ideas into something practical, impactful and eventually, profitable. He challenged the students to expand their minds and think outside the box by presenting scenarios and getting their feedback on how to identify and solve problems, including anticipating potential problems.
It was an insightful session that was smoothly organized by Mohammad Rashed, Vice-Chairperson, UTAR MINDS Club, UTAR Kampar Campus.
