IPOH – Jelapang State Assembly Service Centre continued its efforts to reach out to the local community by distributing biscuit boxes to residents of Taman Rishah.
The programme was organised in conjunction with the upcoming Deepavali celebrations.
The distribution was led by Jelapang assemblyman Cheah Pou Hian, who personally visited the area to meet residents.
The initiative aimed to share the festive joy and promote the spirit of unity among the multiracial community.
The biscuit contributions are hoped to bring cheer to residents preparing to celebrate the festival.
At the same time, the programme reflects the concern and commitment of the Jelapang State Assembly Service Centre towards the welfare of the local community.
Such outreach activities also provide an opportunity to strengthen ties between the elected representative and residents.
