New Ticketing Rates for HoHo Bus Passes

Tourism Perak announced a new promotional price for ticketing rates of the Hop-On Hop-Off (HoHo) bus service for tourists starting this month, which was decided upon research from other parties in the effort to attract more of the public, especially tourists, to utilise the bus service. 

One-day pass for MyKad adults, RM11; children, disabled and senior citizens, RM6; non-MyKad adults, RM21; children, disabled and senior citizens, RM16.

Two-day pass for MyKad adults, RM16; children, disabled and senior citizens, RM10; non-MyKad adults, RM36; children, disabled and senior citizens, RM21.

The bus service uses three open-air buses which go through two routes, that are in-circuit and out-circuit. Operation hours are from 8.30am to 9.30pm every Saturday and Sunday. 

The in-circuit route involves 12 stops, which are:

  • Meru Raya Terminal,
  • Gunung Lang Recreational Park (replacing Movie Animation Park Studios),
  • Ipoh High Court / Ipoh City Hall,
  • Little India,
  • Ipoh Old Town (HSBC Bank),
  • Telekom Malaysia,
  • Gerbang Malam (Jalan Dato’ Tahil Azhar),
  • Ipoh Parade,
  • Gerbang Malam (Bus stop along Jalan Sultan Idris Shah),
  • Octagon Shopping Centre,
  • Hotel Majestic,
  • Panglima Kinta Mosque.

 

The out-circuit route involves nine stops, which are:

  • Sunway Lost World of Tambun (LWOT),
  • Pomelo Orchard Farm,
  • Sam Poh Tong,
  • Medan Gopeng Bus Station,
  • Kellie’s Castle, Batu Gajah,
  • Silveritage, Medan Gopeng (to be rebranded)
  • Panglima Kinta Mosque
  • Ipoh Old Town (HSBC Bank),
  • Meru Raya Terminal.
