The Shen Jai TVET College (SJTC) and Kompas International College (KIC) will be organising its Open Day on November 27 and 28 respectively, featuring free workshops, campus tours, first-hand consultations, trial classes, early-bird discounts and scholarship opportunities.
Both educational institutions are established under the Shen Jai Education Group to provide high-quality education with affordable fees and versatile payment schemes to the public.
The Open Day will be held at its premises located along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah Utara in Ipoh Garden South.
Running on the theme “We Care”, it is aimed to expose prospective students to programmes these institutions offer.
It is also hoped that they will discover the programmes of their interests from the myriad of workshops to be conducted by the academicians.
Open to youth aged 16 to 25, details of the workshops as follows:
Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) workshops:
- Pastry production (cheese tart), November 27, 9.30am to 12pm
- Food preparation production (pasta), November 27, 9.30am to 12pm
- Computer systems (com assembly), November 27, 9.30am to 12pm
- Architectural draughting (basic autocad), November 27, 9.30am to 12pm
Academic workshops:
- Accounting and finance, November 28, 10am to 11am
- Business and management, November 28, 11am to 12pm
- Humanities and general studies, November 28, 1.30 to 2.30pm
- Pre-university studies, November 28, 2.30pm to 3.30pm
To be held in strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set by the government, each session is limited to 25 seats.
Meanwhile, the campus tour will be furnished with useful information such as available financial assistance.
