IPOH: A nostalgic and lively atmosphere coloured the Malaysia Cultural Festival @Perak 2026 through the Laman Permainan Anak Perak programme, which showcased a variety of traditional games that are increasingly rarely played by today’s generation.
Held at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah here, the programme organised by the Perak State Community College provided an opportunity for visitors of all ages to discover, experience and appreciate traditional games that were once part of everyday life in the community.

Among the games available for visitors throughout the festival were congkak, batu seremban, dam aji, ceper, teng teng and chapteh, which are not only entertaining but also help develop creativity, critical thinking skills and teamwork among participants.
For those who enjoy challenges and friendly competition, organisers also held various exciting contests such as Snakes and Ladders, traditional sports games, sepak raga ratus, galah panjang, tin throwing, congkak, batu seremban and the Dam Aji League, which became major attractions for visitors throughout the festival.

The programme is an important initiative aimed at preserving and elevating the country’s cultural heritage so that it remains relevant and appreciated by the younger generation.
It also serves as a platform to connect the older and younger generations through enjoyable cultural activities, while strengthening the identity of Malaysians rich in heritage and traditions.
