IPOH: The people of Perak who wish to follow the live proceedings of the Perak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) session are invited to take this opportunity.
The 15th Session of the Perak Darul Ridzuan State Assembly will take place on April 15.
Applications can be submitted to the State Assembly and Government Meeting Council Division, Office of the State Secretary of Perak.
Observer passes will be provided to facilitate attendance throughout the session.
The public can also follow the live broadcast of the session through the Perak DUN YouTube channel and the official Facebook page of the Office of the State Secretary of Perak.
At a press conference, the Deputy Speaker of the Perak State Assembly, Jenny Choy Tsi Jen, stated that the session will last for six days from April 15 to April 22.
“A total of 45 Members of the State Assembly, consisting of 19 from the government and 26 from the opposition, will be given the opportunity to debate on the motion.
“The debate time allocated to government supporters and the leader of the opposition is 45 minutes each, while 20 minutes will be given to each other speaker,” she said.
Starting this year, the Rukun Negara Pledge will be recited at the First Session of each meeting.
