IPOH- In celebration of Ipoh City’s 37th anniversary, the Ipoh City Council (Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh, MBI) is offering a 70% discount on traffic compounds from 26 May to 31 May 2025.
This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on residents and encourage greater community involvement in the city’s development.
According to MBI, the discount applies to offences under the Road Transport Order (Allocation of Parking Spaces) MBI 2025. Payments can be made through two primary channels:
MBI Payment Counters: Residents can visit MBI’s payment counters to settle their compounds in person.
Online Platforms: Payments can also be made online via the official DMBI portal and the Park@Perak application, providing a convenient option without the need to visit the counters.
MBI encourages all Ipoh residents to take advantage of this limited-time offer. The initiative is part of the city’s efforts to promote compliance with traffic regulations and support the orderly and competitive development of the urban environment.
