IPOH: The Ipoh City Council (MBI), through its Information Technology Department, has introduced a smart tourism application called IpohGo – Travel Smarter to make it easier for visitors to discover the city’s many attractions.
This innovative app provides information on a variety of points of interest (POI) around Ipoh, organised according to user preferences such as historical sites, culinary destinations, family activities and more.
IpohGo is available for free download on Google Play Store, Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery. More details can be found at https://www.mbi.gov.my/sumber/ipohgo-travel-smarter-1.
Members of the public are encouraged to download the app and share their feedback to help further improve its features in the future.
MBI believes this initiative will not only strengthen Ipoh’s image as a smart, tourist-friendly city but also benefit residents by offering well-organised, easily accessible information on destinations.
The city council hopes this effort will continue to drive Ipoh’s growth as a vibrant city full of attractions that are now even easier to explore — IpohGo, Travel Smarter!
