LUMUT: Four swimmers from the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) showcased their dominance by reaching the podium at the Open Water Swimming Competition held in Teluk Senangin.
They excelled in their respective age categories, bringing pride to both the team and the nation’s defense institution.


The competition, which drew participants from various age groups and backgrounds, highlighted the TLDM athletes’ prowess in long-distance swimming.
The winners included, Mohamad Rusdan Ishak, who clinched 1st place in the 1.5km (ages 20–29) category; Nazrol Hakim Che Sharuji, who took 1st place in the 3km (ages 20–29) category, and Shaiful Khohar Abdul Halim, who emerged champion in the 3km (ages 30–39) category.
Additionally, senior officer Rear Admiral Dato’ Mohd Shaiful Adli Chung Abdullah secured 2nd place in the 3km (ages 50–59) category.
A total of 225 participants competed in this long-distance swimming event, which was divided into several categories.
This marked Perak’s first-ever open water swimming event, held in collaboration with Tourism Perak and organized by AMMJB Swimmers Events & Clinics.
