IPOH – In support of the One Stop Centre (OSC) Sejahtera Sosial Kinta District 2025 initiative, Puncak Emas Infra Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with the Tambun Parliamentary Office, has distributed 250 packs of basic food supplies to asnaf (eligible zakat recipients) and B40 groups in the affected areas.


The contribution was presented by Ahmad Fauzan, Operations Manager of Puncak Emas Infra, during the closing ceremony held at the Ipoh Teacher Education Institute (IPG) Campus.
According to him, the initiative forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment to ensure that students do not face food shortages and can remain focused on their studies.
“This two-day programme featured a range of activities, including motivational guidance sessions, family counselling, health and social wellness talks, and career-matching sessions with participating agencies.
“This integrated effort reflects the shared commitment of multiple stakeholders to build a more resilient, prosperous society free from the cycle of poverty,” he said.


The programme involved participants from Mukim Hulu Kinta, Tanjung Rambutan, Lahat, and Sungai Terap, and was jointly organised with the Perak Women and Community Development Secretariat (Wanita Perak), Kinta District and Land Office (PDT), LPPKN, and IPG Ipoh Campus.
Perak Women’s Director, YBrs, officiated the closing ceremony. Puan Jamilah Zakaria, and attended by the Deputy Director of Perak State Development, Mazlan Zurin Zulkifli.


Beyond economic assistance, the programme also emphasised changes in attitude, mindset, and family spirit, empowering targeted groups to break free from poverty.
One of the main objectives was to bring together at-risk students and eKasih participants classified as poor or extremely poor, providing them with guidance on self-development as well as access to government and private sector aid and employment opportunities.
