MBI Approves 23 Sites for 2026 Ramadan Bazaars

IPOH: A total of 23 locations for the 2026 Ramadan Bazaars around the city have been approved by the Ipoh City Council (MBI), involving an overall total of 1,587 trading lots.

Approval for the right to organize these bazaars has been granted to six hawkers’ associations, three residents’ associations, two mosque/surau committees, two private agencies, and one hawkers’ cooperative.

Among the Ramadan Bazaar locations are the Perak Stadium grounds, Taman Temara, Taman Jati, Pekan Chemor, Taman Cempaka, and the Sultan Azlan Shah Roundabout.

The presentation of approval letters to the organizers and a briefing session on the organization of the 2026 MBI Ramadan Bazaars were held at the Operations Room, Ipoh City Council.

The session was chaired by the City Secretary, Ahmad Munir Ishak, and was also attended by MBI councillors.

Briefings were delivered by representatives from relevant departments, Perkeso Perak State, Green Energy Asia Biofuel Resources, MySafe Food, and Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad.

In this regard, traders may contact the listed organizers if they are interested in doing business at their preferred Ramadan Bazaar.

Applications should be made promptly as the number of stalls is limited at each location.
