TAIPING: Contributions towards public facilities have been received by the Taiping Municipal Council (MPT) in support of efforts in urban sustainability and community well-being.

Among the contributions are 20 units of 120-litre rubbish bins, 12 stone benches including bases, six solar lights complete with poles, and four trees of various White Champaca species.

The contributions were received during the MYPLUS Community Day 2025 program, which was held at the Taiping Lake Gardens here.

The MYPLUS Community Day 2025 program is a PLUS initiative aimed at empowering communities surrounding highways and was held simultaneously at 25 locations, including Taiping.

Its objective is to strengthen the spirit of cooperation and contribute to building communities that are safer, more prosperous, and sustainable.

The program, themed “Empowering Safe and Sustainable Communities,” brought together volunteers comprising PLUS employees, students from higher education institutions (ADTEC Taiping), and local residents.

It is hoped that this noble initiative will continue in the future to further strengthen strategic cooperation and foster a sense of togetherness in developing communities that are safe, green, and sustainable.

Earlier, the program was attended by Taiping Municipal Secretary Hasmonaliza Hasan Basari, as well as representatives of senior management from PLUS Berhad’s headquarters.
