IPOH: Ar-Ridzuan Hospital recently organised an informative and interactive medical forum, featuring Prof. Dr Alizan Abdul Khalil as the keynote speaker.
The forum provided a comprehensive insight into the important role of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, which goes beyond purely aesthetic purposes.
It also covers treatments for trauma, burn injuries, and congenital deformities, as well as challenges related to billing and medical case management.
Participants included representatives from general medical clinics, corporate companies, insurance agents, hospital doctors, alongside hospital staff and management.
Also present were Dr Yu Fai Ying, Deputy Medical Director of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB), and Umaisalmah Nawawi, General Manager of Ar-Ridzuan Hospital.
The forum served as a valuable platform for the exchange of knowledge and professional perspectives, particularly in enhancing understanding of the true scope of plastic and reconstructive surgery within the healthcare system.
Active discussion and Q&A sessions reflected the participants’ commitment to strengthening collaboration among medical practitioners, industry players, and healthcare providers.
