WIS Charity Carnival 2026 Successfully Concluded

Kampar, 25 April –  Westlake International School recently successfully hosted its “Charity Carnival 2026”, themed “One Community, One Heartbeat”, with the aim of uniting the community and spreading a spirit of care and compassion. The event concluded on a high note, filled with warmth and vibrant energy.

The opening ceremony was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests from the education sector and the school’s leadership team, including:

Their presence not only added prestige to the event but also reflected the strong support from both the education authorities and the school’s leadership towards charitable initiatives and community engagement.

The carnival attracted enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and members of the wider community, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. A wide variety of international cuisines and beverages were available, alongside engaging performances such as a showcase by the Wind Orchestra Westlake, demonstration by the Cornerstone Taekwon-do Club, and vocal performances by UTAR students, all of which brought joy and memorable experiences to attendees.

Highlights of the event included an impressive magic show by Uncle Billy, a popular miniature petting zoo featuring rabbits, lizards, and snakes, a heartwarming song request booth, as well as a VR zone, haunted house, and a variety of interactive games that catered to all age groups. The raffle draw further elevated the excitement, with attractive prizes including a 65-inch Google TV (grand prize), an air conditioner, a 43-inch smart TV, and many more.

Notably, all proceeds raised from the carnival were donated to UTAR Hospital in support of its ongoing efforts to provide accessible and quality healthcare services to the community. This meaningful initiative reflects the school’s commitment to social responsibility and highlights the power of unity in giving back to society.
