TELUK INTAN: Mohd Faizal Md Kasim has been appointed as the new president of the Teluk Intan Municipal Council (MPTI), taking on the responsibility of leading the local authority.
He replaces Zairul Akmal Kasim in heading the administration of the council.
Prior to his appointment, Mohd Faizal served as the Assistant District Land Officer (Chief Assistant District Officer Land) at the Bagan Datuk District and Land Office.
The presentation of the letter of appointment was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, at the Perak State Secretariat (SUK) Building.
Mohd Faizal is expected to continue strengthening leadership excellence and enhance teamwork within the organisation.
He is also expected to play an important role in improving service delivery for residents of Teluk Intan and Bagan Datuk.
The appointment is seen as a catalyst towards more sustainable urban development and the well-being of the people in Perak.
