MBI Physical Parking Coupon to be Used Till 2023

The Ipoh City Council (MBI) makes another step towards full digitization by implementing the Park@Perak application for the payment of parking charges.

In line with this, physical coupons will no longer be sold to parking coupon agents effective 1 June 2022.

Mayor, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin said the existing physical coupons can still be sold to members of the public and be used until 31 December 2023.

According to him, Park@Perak has now been updated with the latest version (Ver 3.0.0) featuring new functions.

“The functions involve daily pass, monthly pass and status check for vehicle stickers among others.

“The application can be downloaded via the Play Store, App Store and Huawei Gallery,” he said during the MBI full board meeting for the month of February at the MBI meeting hall.

To facilitate matters, members of the public can contact the Parking Unit at 05-255 4377 / 05-255 4387 / 05-2554388 for inquiries.

In view of the current situation, the Ipoh City Council also extended the payment period of assessment tax for the first term of 2022 till March 15 to aid those impacted by economic uncertainty.

“Regarding this, any owners who still have not paid assessment tax for the first term are urged to do so to avoid being issued the Notice E.

“The council will only implement the Warrant F 15 days after Notice E is issued,” he added.

  1. I do remember having a couple of ringgit in my Park at Perak last week. However when the app was converted to the new one, my account had nothing in it. Where did the money go?
