Travelodge IPOH Welcomes the Year of the Dragon with a Scrumptious Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner

The Chinese New Year will be celebrated next February, undoubtedly making family reunion dinners a priority.

Travelodge Ipoh is certainly not left behind, inviting residents and visitors alike to welcome the upcoming Chinese New Year with an extravagant Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner featuring a remarkable array of delectable Chinese cuisines.

The representative from Ipoh Echo had the opportunity to savour the delectable offerings prepared by an experienced chef. In addition to the authentic Chinese flavours, all ingredients are fresh and blended without the use of additional seasonings.

The Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner at Travelodge Ipoh will be available from January 15th to February 24th, 2024, daily from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Diners have the option to choose from two exclusive menu packages:

For the Classic Package (RM999nett), the menu includes Prosperity Yee Sang with Salmon and Jelly Fish, Double Boiled Hearty Chicken Herbal Soup, Prosperity Treasure Bowl, Secret Steamed Lotus Leaf Glutinous Rice with Prawn Roe, and Chilled Mango Pomelo Sago with Ice Cream.

Meanwhile, the Jade Package (RM1,388nett) features Prosperity Yee Sang with Salmon and Abalone, Braised Superior Fish Maw and Crab Meat Soup with Dried Scallops, Foil Wrapped Steam Herbal Chicken with Fresh Ginseng, Steamed Fish Garoupa with Melaka Nyonya Tamarind Sauce, Slow Stew Sea Cucumber and Black Moss with Black Mushroom, Wok Fried White Prawn with Soy Bean, Secret Steamed Lotus Leaf Glutinous Rice with Prawn Roe, Chilled Mango Pomelo Sago with Ice Cream, and Golden Fried Chinese Rice Cake Ball.

For those looking to indulge in this exquisite dining experience, reservations are open. The Classic and Jade packages require a 3-day advance reservation.

For those who wish to celebrate at home, Travelodge Ipoh offers a Poon Choi takeaway, featuring a pot filled with roasted chicken, roasted duck, tiger prawn, fresh scallop, yam, cabbage, sea cucumber, broccoli, mushroom, and radish, priced at RM388nett. Add-ons include abalone (RM96nett) and fish maw (RM110nett).
