IPOH: Who will be crowned Mister Kaamatan and Unduk Ngadau KDCA Perak 2025?
The answer will be revealed at the Pesta Kaamatan KDCA Perak 2025 celebration, taking place on Saturday, May 17 at Dewan Canselor, Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Seri Iskandar.
The festival will run from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
This annual event is organized by the Kadazandusun Cultural Association (KDCA) Perak.
The festival is a symbolic appreciation of the harvest and serves as a platform to preserve and elevate the culture and heritage of the Kadazandusun community and other ethnic groups in Sabah.
The organizers warmly invite the public, especially the Sabah community in Perak, to come as a family and enliven the festive atmosphere.
Among the programs are traditional Sabah games such as arm wrestling, slipper throwing, coconut shell racing, and guess the traditional food.
There will also be interactive activities including a Bingo Picture Hunt, open karaoke booths, and photo spots.
Not to be missed are local food and beverage stalls, handicraft booths, and cultural and ethnic exhibitions from Sabah.
Pesta Kaamatan is not just an annual event, but a symbol of unity and togetherness that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries.
Free entry for UTP students, while only RM5 for external guests.
