IPOH: The Women, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Development Association (PPWKI) successfully held its 2025 Family Day celebration.
The event took place in a lively and warm atmosphere at Dewan Psemi, Medan Istana.
Attended by around 60 people, the event also saw five fathers and five mothers receive special recognition awards from PPWKI as a mark of appreciation for their contributions and sacrifices.
PPWKI President, Ms. Letchumi Muthu, stated that Parents’ Day should be celebrated by all non-governmental organizations (NGOs) as a gesture of love and appreciation toward parents.
“We must show our appreciation to parents, for without them, we would not be here in this world,” she said in her speech.
The event was further enlivened with various family-oriented activities, a shared meal, and the presentation of souvenirs to the attendees.
The initiative received praise from guests for PPWKI’s commendable efforts in strengthening family values and recognizing the importance of parents.
