New Parit Buntar Hospital to Begin Operations This September

PARIT BUNTAR: Residents of Parit Buntar and the surrounding areas will soon enjoy improved healthcare services with the completion of a new hospital worth RM173.3 million.

The project consists of six three-storey building blocks and has a capacity of 76 beds.

This new hospital complex is set to provide a more conducive healthcare environment for the local community.

It is equipped with various modern facilities, including a more comfortable and fully equipped Emergency Unit, Hemodialysis services for 38 patients, a High Dependency Unit (HDU) with four critical care beds, and an operating theatre for minor surgeries starting January 2026.

The hospital is expected to begin operations on September 3, offering services in General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Orthopaedics.

Meanwhile, the old hospital building will be repurposed as a new Health Clinic and dental care facility to ease congestion at the existing clinic.

Earlier, the handover ceremony of the new Parit Buntar Hospital building was witnessed by Deputy Health Minister Dato Lukanisman Awang Sauni and Director General of Public Works, Datuk Wira Ir. Roslan Ismail.
