The Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) is bringing the Financial Planning for Professionals (FP4PRO) to Ipoh on 20 September at Tui Blue The Haven Ipoh, from 9 am to 12 pm.
For those who are a member of a professional body in Malaysia and ready to take their personal finance management to the next level, the FP4PRO Roadshow will be bringing in expert speakers in the financial planning industry to cover topics such as Investment Planning for the Future, Retirement Planning for the Future and Financial Planning Advisory Practices in Malaysia.
Licensed financial planners with the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) will be the ones covering the talks, as well as a session on Private Retirement Scheme (PRS) by representatives from Private Pension Administrator (PPA) Malaysia.
Various partners will also be showcasing their products and services at exhibition booths during the programme.

This is the third FP4PRO for 2025, and comes in the wake of two prior sessions held in Penang and Kuala Lumpur, both of which had about 200 participants each. This nationwide initiative is supported by the Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF) and organised by MFPC in collaboration with The Smart Investor (TSI) and Human Resource Development Berhad (HRD Corp) as event partners, with Tui Blue The Haven Ipoh serving as the venue partner.
FP4PRO is a step in the MFPC’s commitment to address gaps in financial planning knowledge among professionals, and is in line with the government’s intent to ensure that more professionals are aware of the need for planning ahead. The event in Ipoh is particularly significant in light of the launch of Malaysia National Strategy 2.0, and the declaration of October 2025 as the National Financial Literacy month.
