IPOH: A total of 21 babies born on October 1, 2025, at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HPRB), Ipoh, were celebrated in a special program held in conjunction with the 2025 National Registration Day.
The event was organized by the Perak State National Registration Department (JPN) in collaboration with Yayasan Perak.

The program, called Dakapan Kasih (Embrace of Love), aimed to celebrate the birth of babies on this significant date while strengthening early support for the education of children in Perak.
The contribution-giving ceremony was officiated by the wife of the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Datin Seri Hamisah Hussin.
Each mother and baby honored received a Tabung Simpanan Pendidikan Anak Perak (TASPEN) education savings voucher worth RM200, along with a souvenir from Yayasan Perak.

The vouchers will be deposited into an SSPN Prime account as an initial educational savings fund for the children.
According to the organizers, this initiative reflects the care and ongoing commitment of the Perak State Government and Yayasan Perak to ensuring access to education begins from birth.
Such programs are expected to be expanded in the future so that more people in Perak can benefit from the initiatives offered.
