IPOH: The collapse of a drain wall and soil erosion along Jalan Silibin near here has raised concerns among residents and road users.
Following the incident, Jelapang State Assemblyman (ADUN), Cheah Pou Hian, visited the site to inspect the situation himself.
According to him, the collapsed wall poses a potential danger to road users if it is not addressed promptly.
“I advise road users to be more cautious when passing through the area for their own safety,” he said.
He also informed that his office has forwarded information and a report to the relevant department for immediate action.
This includes repairing the damage before the situation becomes more serious.
It is understood that the responsible authorities are expected to begin repair works soon after the technical assessment process is completed.
