Fiesta Raya Ipoh 2026 Comes Alive with Aidilfitri Jualan Rahmah

Ipoh: The Fiesta Raya Ipoh 2026 Riverfront @ Old Town, held over six days from 13 to 18 March, is expected to attract around 10,000 local and international visitors in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebrations and the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 campaign.

Organised by the Perak State Government through Tourism Perak, the fiesta runs daily from 4.00 pm to 12.00 midnight at Kinta Riverwalk, Old Town here.

The event also receives support from several agencies including the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC).

The opening ceremony is scheduled to be officiated by Perak Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.

The fiesta features a variety of stalls selling food and Aidilfitri products, including clothing, accessories, handicrafts and festive cookies, while also providing local entrepreneurs with opportunities to showcase and market their products.

Visitors can also shop for a wide range of festive necessities through the Jualan Rahmah, which offers items at affordable prices.

Throughout the six-day event, visitors are treated to a variety of attractions, including cultural performances by the Perak Malaysian Arts School, flying roti canai demonstrations, silat, live bands, handicraft demonstrations, and panjut performances, all adding to the festive Aidilfitri atmosphere at Kinta Riverwalk.

The programme is expected to involve around 40 local vendors and community participants throughout its duration.
