IPOH: Following a highly successful reception in eight states last year, the Program MADANI Rakyat (PMR) 2026 is back in Perak with fresh elements that allow the public to access government services directly while enjoying a variety of activities that benefit the community.
The flagship programme of the Prime Minister will be held from April 3 to 5, 2026, at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah, Persiaran Meru, with the Official Opening Ceremony officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim on April 4. The presence of the Prime Minister underscores the government’s commitment to engage with the people and provide opportunities for direct interaction with the nation’s top leadership.
Coordinated by the Performance Leap Coordination Unit (PACU) of the Prime Minister’s Office, PMR 2026 Perak carries the theme ‘Sustainable Cities, Quality Housing, Harmonious Communities’, reflecting the government’s aspiration for sustainable urban development, quality housing, and harmonious communities in line with the Perak Sejahtera 2030 Plan.
Over the three-day event, visitors can enjoy a wide range of attractions, including government services, public welfare initiatives, health services, Jualan Rahmah MADANI, Jualan Agro MADANI, job opportunities, local food festivals, local entrepreneurs’ sales, free helmets and engine oil exchanges for motorcycles, free haircuts, distribution of seeds and saplings, defence exhibitions, and family-friendly activities.
The programme also emphasises the active involvement of Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) and local communities to broaden reach and maximise benefits to the public.
Members of the public are invited to attend and take advantage of the wide range of services and activities, held from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 9.00 am to 6.00 pm on Sunday.
