IPOH: Faded and missing road markings at the traffic light junction connecting Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, Jalan Gurdwara and Jalan Tun Perak here are causing daily confusion among road users.
An Ipoh resident, known only as Nik, claimed the situation has become increasingly dangerous, especially at night, as there are no clear lane markings to indicate left and right turns.
“This is not a new issue, and it has been going on for a long time. The situation is very dangerous in the dark, causing confusion among motorists.
“We hope the relevant authorities or those responsible for maintaining the area can repaint the road markings for everyone’s safety.
“Particularly near the traffic lights at the four-way junction, it feels like there are no proper traffic rules because the road lines are no longer visible,” he told Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic.
Nik also urged the responsible parties to inspect the area themselves, claiming the issue has persisted for a long time without any action.
