Cahya Suria Services Sdn Bhd and Suzhou EnnoTHING Technology Co., Ltd. have entered into a strategic partnership through NexQuantum 1 Sdn Bhd to move forward the proposed NexQuantum AI Digital Park in Perak.
The collaboration was formalised on 14 May 2026 at AC Hotel by Marriott Ipoh.
If realised, the project could strengthen Perak’s digital investment landscape, create opportunities for local vendors and support the development of technology talent in the state.

The ceremony was graced by Duli Yang Amat Mulia Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain ibni Almarhum Sultan Idris A’fifullah Shah, Raja Di-Hilir Perak Darul Ridzuan.
Also present were YAB Dato’ Saarani bin Mohamad, Menteri Besar Perak, representatives from the state development ecosystem, international technology partners, business leaders, investors, consultants and local stakeholders.
NexQuantum AI Digital Park is envisioned as a future ready digital infrastructure platform for Perak. It is designed to support the state’s digital ambitions and Malaysia’s wider digital transformation. In the longer term, the project is also positioned to serve the ASEAN and Greater Asian digital economy.
Under the wider masterplan, the digital park is planned to comprise eight proposed data centre facilities.

The first proposed facility, known as NQ1, is planned as the flagship development. It is proposed as a 32MW, fully AI ready Tier III data centre equipped with liquid cooling technology, with an estimated RM1 billion investment value in Perak.
The project is intended to support next generation digital demand, including AI computing, high performance computing, secure data infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity and enterprise digital applications.
In simple terms, Cahya Suria Services will help move the project on the ground in Malaysia, while Suzhou EnnoTHING brings international technology experience in areas such as AI infrastructure, automation, cloud services and smart manufacturing.
Mr Ong Teng Boon, representing Cahya Suria Services Sdn Bhd and NexQuantum 1 Sdn Bhd, said, “Our ambition is to build a Perak-born digital infrastructure platform that is connected to Malaysia and positioned to serve the wider Greater Asian digital economy.”
He said the project supports Perak Sejahtera 2030 by helping to attract quality investment, encourage local vendor participation and support talent development in the state.

Mr Liu Huoping, representing Suzhou EnnoTHING Technology Co., Ltd., said the collaboration shows a serious long term commitment to developing the project in Perak.
He added that NQ1 would serve as an important first step under the broader NexQuantum AI Digital Park vision, with the potential to support advanced computing, cloud services and future regional digital demand.
Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak, representing PKNPk and the state development ecosystem, said Perak welcomes serious and responsible investors who bring capital, technology, expertise, ecosystem development and long-term commitment.
The development of NexQuantum AI Digital Park will proceed subject to planning, technical, utility and regulatory requirements.
The parties said it will be pursued through a structured and responsible approach, with attention to sustainability, orderly implementation and public confidence.
