TAPAH: The Solidarity Run for Dara, Amoi and Kelat (DAK) entered its third day today with a 45-kilometre (km) journey from Kampar to Tapah.
The run, which began as early as 5am, covered a route from Kampar to Malim Nawar before reaching Temoh by midday.
Based on the schedule, Solidarity Secretariat coordinator Neow Choo Seong completed the morning session in Temoh after running approximately 23km at around 11am.

In the afternoon session, Neow continued his run from Temoh towards Tapah via Jalan Tapah before arriving at his third-day stopover at about 7pm.
The stretch from Temoh to Tapah covered a further 10km.
Overall, the total distance covered on Day 3 stood at 45km, bringing his cumulative distance to 150km.
The solo 290km run is organised by the Solidarity Secretariat for Dara, Amoi and Kelat to raise public awareness on the welfare of three Malaysian elephants currently housed at Tennoji Zoo in Osaka, Japan.
Throughout the journey, Neow has also carried a message urging the government to give serious attention to the welfare of Dara, Amoi and Kelat, including raising the matter in Parliament.

He previously stressed that the run is not merely a physical challenge but a symbol of national solidarity to ensure the welfare of the iconic animals is protected.
Despite suffering a knee injury on the first day, his determination remains unwavering in completing the mission dedicated to the country’s iconic elephants.
After resting overnight in Tapah, Neow is scheduled to continue Day 4 of the challenge towards Bidor–Tanjung, covering a 60km route.
