IPOH – Sergeant Jhony anak Bunsu has been appointed as the new Acting Chief of Ampang Baru Police Station, taking over the duties from Sergeant Major Jefry Zainal.
The transfer is part of efforts to ensure continuity in the station’s administration and management.
It also provides an opportunity for the new leadership to continue its responsibilities in ensuring effective policing services for the community.
The handover ceremony was witnessed by Ipoh District Police Deputy Chief (General Policing), Superintendent Mohd Akmal Hizam Abd Khupur.
At the same time, the ceremony served as a gesture of appreciation for SM Jefry’s services and contributions throughout his tenure.
The new leadership is expected to continue its commitment to strengthening public safety and police-community relations.
