The Talang Berkubang Festival’s ‘First Time Voters’ event last Saturday, succeeded in capturing the hearts of the villagers participating in it.
In line with the objectives of the programme, this public sporting event was attended by more than 500 villagers, especially youths who are potential voters.
Among the public sporting events held are slippery pole climbing, tug-of-war and line fishing.
Datuk Maslin Sham who is a member of the Bukit Chandan State Legislative Assembly also joined with those present.
“Congratulations to the organisers for holding a programme that was very effective, lively and gave great memories.
“Especially for young voters and first-time voters for this upcoming election.
“Thank you also to the secretariat and friends who helped make this programme a success from start to finish,” he said in a post on Facebook.
The closing ceremony was completed by Maslin Sham who also presented prizes to the winners of games and lucky draws.
