IPOH— Six students and two accompanying lecturers recently took part in the Hangzhou Study Tour & Summer Camp 2025, a seven-day international programme held at the Hangzhou Vocational and Technical College in Shebang, China.
Organised in collaboration with Northern Kuala Lumpur University, the programme also saw the participation of 12 students from the institution as part of an internationalisation initiative.
Throughout the programme, participants attended courses on lift and mechanical engineering, visited various businesses in Hangzhou, and took part in a cultural workshop aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of Chinese culture.
Students also had the opportunity to tour several tourist attractions around the city as part of cross-cultural engagement and networking activities.
The programme is viewed as a crucial platform to enhance students’ technical knowledge and skills while fostering their self-confidence through valuable international exposure.
