IPOH – Lovers of traditional kampung-style cuisine from diverse backgrounds can indulge in a special buffet experience at MU Hotel, Ipoh, throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
With over 70 dishes served daily, the Buffet Iftar Cahaya Ramadan promises a heartwarming iftar experience, evoking memories of home-cooked meals prepared by mothers in the village.
MU Hotel offers five rotational menus, ensuring a variety of flavours for diners every day. Some highlights include Ayam Masak Rendang, Ikan Patin Gulai Tempoyak, Kari Ayam Nyonya Kapitan, Ikan Talapia with Spicy Thai Sauce, and Ikan Sembilang Curry.
No Ramadan buffet is complete without a grilled lamb station. MU Hotel’s signature Kambing Bakar and Nasi Briyani Kambing Padu with authentic curry sauce & vegetable dhall is a must-try.
The lamb, marinated with a blend of aromatic spices, is cooked to perfection, resulting in tender and juicy meat that melts in your mouth.
For dessert, diners can enjoy an assortment of local kuih-muih, fresh fruits, and a refreshing longan fruit cocktail to complete their meal.
The buffet is available from March 11 to March 29, 2025, with special promotional rates. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, the buffet is priced at RM75 per adult and RM40 per child (aged 6 to 12 years old).
Meanwhile, on Fridays and Saturdays, the price is RM95 per adult and RM60 per child.
